Ishtiaq Khan
Ishtiaq Khan is a corporate businessman, strategic investor, and financial advisor with over 30 years of experience structuring complex private and government-linked partnerships across Asia, including Indonesia, Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
Beginning his career in banking, he has deep expertise in foreign direct investment (FDI), structured finance and supply chain funding for large-scale enterprises and government-backed initiatives. Over the course of his career, he has advised on some of the most significant strategic national projects across Asia.

As co-founder of Strategic Global Alliance, Ishtiaq Khan leverages decades of on-the-ground experience in some of Asia’s most complex, high-value investment environments. He specialises in designing strategic funding structures and delivering end-to-end supply chain solutions for corporations and governments engaged in large-scale infrastructure, energy and public-sector initiatives.
Based in Indonesia since 1995, Mr. Khan has worked closely with successive government administrations on high-value strategic collaborations, enabling greater levels of global capital in Asia's emerging markets. His sector experience spans infrastructure development, natural resources (including coal and sand mining), oil and gas, green energy, education and defence supply. His long-standing regional presence has established him as a trusted partner for both public institutions and private enterprises navigating cross-border investments.
A board member and active contributor to regional business councils, Mr. Khan plays a key role in advancing cross-border partnerships that drive economic growth and social impact. Alongside Mr. Rupin Banker, he continues to advise on some of the largest public-private investment transactions across the region.
